the cry

Who can compare to You when I was cobwebbed in endless filth, yet you still saw the best in me?

Who can compare to You when you dusted off every part of me and clothed me in You?

Who can compare to You when you chose me to represent you, even when I didn’t know who you were?

Who can compare to You when I was encrusted in an iron frame of self-infliction, immorality, disgust and everything that hurt you the most, yet you peeled off every part of who I thought I was?

Who can compare to You  when your gentle hands peeled me slowly and compassionately, all the layers that were negative and destroying me?

Who can compare to You when you believed in me more than I believed in myself?

Who can compare to You when you held myhand whilst the rest of the world walked out?

Who can compare to You when I have lived the miraculous handiwork that has transformed my very being?

Who can compare to You when you called me your friend even when I held everything against you?

Who can compare to You, when you called out my name in love whilst I pierced you with my hatred?

Who can compare to You when you see past our broken lives and see us as little children eagerly wanting to be loved?

Who can compare to You when you mended our shattered hearts?

Who can compare to You when you patiently engraved us in the palm of Your hand with Your own blood, before we even knew your very existence?

Who can compare to you when you sat and waited still and watched your handiwork skin herself from the world and hibernate in You?

Who can compare to you, my King, when you breathed life into me, when I was seeking ways to destroy it?

And who can compare to You when you greet us with forgiveness even when we least deserve it?

And who can compare to You when you called us, yet refused to listen?

Who can compare to you? Who can compare to you? There is none, but You!

Praying in the spirit- "For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful."- 1 Corinthians 14:14

When we pray in the spirit, we do not speak to humans, but to God, and it is our spirit that prays whilst the mind is unfruitful. When we speak in a tongue, in our spirit we speak secrets/mysteries.

The unintended, unattended and uninvited

To write down emotions is like expressing deep parts of you which are supposed to stay there. But there are times and instances where you find yourself pouring out all that is written, with another heart. But what if, those heart-felt expressions were unintended? It’s then too late to undo what has been done, or said. Once spoken, it’s like a bag of feathers let loose into the wind – you don’t know the direction or path that they have gone, and same with words. Once said, you can never get them back.

What if you realise that the unintended has brought you to a place where you are unattended? Where people are more concerned about what you said other than you, or they are more concerned about what they want you to say, rather than you.

Or perhaps you find out that what you say was uninvited and unwated. And when you find yourself in that place, where you say or do the unintended, end up as the unattended and feel ininvited?

Of course, we turn to the source who is capable to see past through all of that, and My God – He truly melts those feelings away. But when you face reality again – when you face those same people that detriment your soul – what do we do?

How can we erase something that was deeply engraved? How can we cover a protruding obstacle?

Do we just go around them and pretend that everything is ok, or do we express ourselves as the unintended, unattended and uninvited? And when we would have expressed ourselves with a most trustworthy, yet, it seems like all words were in vain, for they seem to commune with who has made you feel that way, how are we supposed to feel?

Are we permanently tagged as unintended, unattended and uninvited?

At least I am secure in your arms because with you I am always intended, attended adn invited.

Thank you for not being like everyone else.

Thank you for loving us whenever we considered You as unintended, unattended and uninvited. I can now understand a fragment of what you felt like. Teach me to see past through this – just as you have seen past through us!

The Power Praise List

We all find ourselves in situations that do not reflect positivity, for instance negative attitudes, bad moods, grumbling so on and so forth. And we all know that when we are in one of ”those” days, it feels like we are distant from God aswell!! We could let the attitude just wear off over a couple of days, and then get back on track, but really and truly, would that be worth it, missing out on a few days of intimacy with the Lord?

I am guilty as charged. I do get caught up in a negative attitude at times, and after i’m through it, I usually feel horrible, because I would have let something fleshly disrupt my spirituality! And this is just wrong!!

And i realised, that in order for me to rid of my negativity immediately (whatever it is), all I need to do, is go through the Power Praise List, which is really the ABC of transforming negativity into positivity. I must admit that the first few are usually quite tough to go through, however then we start to unwind into praising the Most High, and by the end of it, we are rejuvinated, fresh and ready to go for spiritual warfare sphered in nothing but pure Joy and Peace!

Try it out! It worked for me, it is sure to work for you!!

(don’t forget – you must say it out loud, for better effect to your holistic transformation!)

NB: instructions: go through each word, formulating it in a sentence of your own desire! I will first post the list, then give an example of how to go about it! Be blessed!
